Work description

The training area of the scholarship is data management and governance, applied to industry. It involves issues of digital maturity, data sharing, data ecosystems, methodological aspects of the design and implementation of data management strategies and the design of consultancy services in this area. 1) Development of workflows and methods enabling AI testing to support the safe operation of local energy communities and microgrids.

2) Develop methodologies for assessing the robustness and safety of AI-based decision and control systems, considering risk assessment aligned with the EU AI Act.

Survey the state of the art in emerging wireless networks, including their simulation using real data assimilation, machine learning, and digital twin approaches. Collaborate in the writing of technical reports on communications protocols, algorithms, and mechanisms developed. Develop new modules enabling the simulation and/or experimentation of emerging wireless networks. Develop IoT network optimization algorithms with the goal of reducing the energy consumption while maintaining the quality of service. Write publications in co-authorship within the scope of the work developed. Write the final activity report of the grant.
