At 1100 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicate that thunderstorms continue to produce heavy rain, especially across Limestone and Madison counties in Alabama. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain has fallen, with additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches possible as showers and storms persist over these locations over the next couple of hours.
