Lake effect snow will affect areas along the southern shore of Lake of the Woods Saturday afternoon. Snow will fall in relatively narrow bands, with up to 4 inches of snow. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include… Athens, Benton, Etowah, Charleston, Englewood, Tellico Plains, Calhoun, Riceville, Hillsview, and Bullet Creek.
