At 524 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 11 miles west of Sheffield to 16 miles north of Sanderson, moving southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD…70 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include… Terrell County Gas Plant.

* WHAT…Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE…Guanica, Sabana Grande and Yauco. * WHEN…Until 730 PM AST. * IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 623 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. – Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
