At 1010 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Neeoshe Reservoir, or 21 miles north of Lamar, moving northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include… Sheridan Lake, Chivington, Brandon, Neeoshe Reservoir, and Queens Reservoir.

Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 3 inches of rain have fallen. – Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area.
