The Department of Biomedical Engineering at Tufts University is conducting an ongoing search for highly qualified, enthusiastic part-time lecturers. We invite applications from individuals who are interested in teaching courses for undergraduate and graduate students based on the applicants’ professional expertise and the BME Department’s area(s) of need. The J. Mike Walker ’66 Department of Mechanical Engineering, with the College of Engineering, at Texas A&M University, invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track assistant/associate professor-level position with a nine-month academic appointment, and the possibility of an additional summer appointment contingent upon the need and availability of funds, beginning Fall 2026. The department will consider an individual with demonstrated expertise and experience in advanced design and manufacturing; micro- and nano-systems; energy and environment; biomechanics and human performance. Interdisciplinary research and/or collaborative potential contributing to the development of innovative technologies designed to improve human health is also of particular interest. Teaching experience in mechanical engineering courses is also an important attribute for this position.

The pace of capacity additions for U.S. biofuel production slowed in 2024, with production capacity increasing by a modest 3% from the start of 2024 to the start of 2025, according to our latest biofuels production capacity reports. A deceleration in production capacity in our category renewable diesel and other biofuels accounted for most of the slowdown in growth. Sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), renewable naphtha, and renewable propane make up virtually all of the other biofuels.
