Position Details

The Department of Biomedical Engineering in the Grove School of Engineering at the City College of New York (CCNY) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position. The successful candidate will be expected to establish a vibrant externally funded research program and demonstrate excellence in teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

The Department offers an outstanding research environment with strengths in biomaterials/nanotechnology, cardiovascular engineering, musculoskeletal engineering, and neural engineering. We encourage applications from applicants whose expertise aligns with and strengthens these areas, with particular interest in biomaterials/nanotechnology/regenerative medicine and cardiovascular engineering.

Job Description Summary

Assistant/Associate Professor (tenure track) to teach courses in biomedical engineering and related areas, develop an active externally funded research program in biomedical engineering, advise undergraduate and graduate students, and provide service to the department, university, and profession.
