Overview: Invest 90W is now Tropical Depression 32W, centered near 8N142E. 32W is drifting around to the south-southwest of Guam. Locally heavy showers and thunderstorms are seen with the 32W in an elongated pattern from south of Yap Proper to west of Weno, Chuuk. Winds: Increasingly gusty easterly winds will become southeasterly tonight into Thursday with sustained winds of 20 to 30 mph, with gusts to 40 mph possible. Further increases in the wind fields are possible if 32W were to strengthen faster or track further north, closer to the Marianas, though this is not expected at this time. Strongest winds will be seen over Guam, decreasing northward. Tinian and Saipan

Highest surf across west facing coasts. * WHEN…From late Wednesday night through Friday afternoon. * IMPACTS…There is an increased risk of ocean drowning. Rip currents can pull swimmers and surfers out to sea. Waves can wash people off beaches and rocks, and capsize small boats nearshore. Pooling of sea water is possible around high tide at beach and harbor areas that is uncommon with normal tidal ranges. Enhanced beach erosion is also possible. Significant damage is unlikely. *
