Position overview
Salary range: The UC academic salary scales set the minimum pay at appointment. See the following table for the current salary scale for this position: https://www.ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/_files/2025-26/represented-july-2025-scales/t15.pdf. TSP hourly rate $65. The current full-time salary range for Lecturer positions is $75,301 – $199,722. Starting salary is commensurate with highest degree, teaching experience, and equity within the department.

Percent time: 8% to 100% (Lecturer only)
1-40 hours per week (Both Lecturer and TSP)
TSP positions are part time and paid on an hourly basis depending on the need.

Anticipated start: Positions usually start on January 1, June 15, July 1, and August 1.

Position duration: Positions can be one semester or academic year.

President Donald J. Trump Approves Major Disaster Declaration for Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe

WASHINGTON — FEMA announced that federal disaster assistance is available to Members of the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe to supplement recovery efforts in the areas affected by severe storms and straight-line winds on June 21, 2025.

The President’s action makes federal funding available to affected individuals and families of the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe. Assistance can include grants for temporary housing and home repairs as well as funds to replace personal property. 

The Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe is also eligible to receive federal funding on a cost-sharing basis for emergency work and the repair or replacement of facilities damaged by the severe storm and straight-line winds.

Frederic Kaehler has been named the Federal Coordinating Officer for federal recovery operations in the affected areas. Additional designations may be made at a later date if requested by the Tribal Nation and warranted by the results of further damage assessments.

Tribal members who sustained losses on or near the designated area should first file a claim with their insurance provider and then apply for assistance online at www.DisasterAssistance.gov or by calling 1-800-621-3362. Those who use a relay service, such as video relay service (VRS), captioned telephone service or others, should provide FEMA with the number for that service.

WASHINGTON – FEMA announced that federal disaster assistance is available to the state of North Dakota to supplement recovery efforts in the areas affected by severe storms, straight-line winds and tornadoes from Aug. 7-8, 2025.

Public Assistance federal funding is available to the state, tribal and eligible local governments and certain private nonprofit organizations on a cost-sharing basis for emergency work and the repair and replacement of facilities damaged by severe storms, straight-line winds and tornadoes in Barnes, Grand Forks, Griggs, Kidder, Nelson, Steele and Stutsman counties.

Katherine B. Fox has been named as the Federal Coordinating Officer for federal recovery operations in the affected area. Additional designations may be made at a later date if requested by the state and warranted by the results of further damage assessments.
