* WHAT…Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE…A portion of central California, including the following county, Lake. * WHEN…Until 900 AM PST. * IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. There will be an increased risk of rock and land slides along roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 607 AM PST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 0.6 and 1.2 inches of rain have fallen. –

The citizen-seismograph network of RaspberryShake reported a magnitude 2.8 quake in Cyprus near Paphos, Pafos, only 8 minutes ago. The earthquake hit early afternoon on Thursday, November 13th, 2025, at 3:55 pm local time at a shallow depth of 10. km. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
Towns or cities near the epicenter where the quake might have been felt as very weak shaking include Pentalia (pop. 71) located 3 km from the epicenter, Konia (pop. 2,200) 14 km away, Emba (pop. 5,500) 16 km away, Geroskipou (pop. 8,400) 17 km away, Paphos (pop. 36,000) 17 km away, and Chlorakas (pop. 6,400) 18 km away. In Kato Polemidia (pop. 23,200, 40 km away), Limassol (pop. 154,000, 44 km away), and Germasogeia (pop. 17,300, 47 km away), the quake was probably not felt.

Driven by an increase in wholesale natural gas prices, retail U.S. natural gas prices for every sector have increased so far this year, although the increases are uneven across sectors. In our latest Short-Term Energy Outlook, we expect the 2025 annual average price of natural gas paid by electric power plants to increase by 37% and the price paid by industrial sector customers to increase by 21% compared with the 2024 averages. We forecast that natural gas prices for customers in the commercial and residential sectors will increase by less, at 4% each.
