Southwest to west winds have become strong and gusty across the East Glacier Park Region and Northern High Plains, generally along and west of the US Hwy 89 corridor from Dupuyer north to the Canadian Border. Travelers in these areas should be prepared for strong cross winds of between 50 to 70 mph, especially in the Badger Creek and Two Medicine River Valleys west of US Hwy 89. Know your vehicles limits!

Fog, locally dense in some areas, has developed across portions of Central and Southwest Montana. While most areas will see visibilities of between one to three miles where the fog has developed there will be localized spots where visibilities fall to as low as one quarter of a mile. Travelers should be prepared for changing conditions. Slow down and use low beam headlights if you encounter reductions in visibility due to fog.

FFWLOX The National Weather Service in Los Angeles/Oxnard has issued a * Flash Flood Warning for… West-Central and Southwest Los Angeles County in southwestern California… This includes the Palisades Burn Scar. * Until 600 AM PST. * At 219 AM PST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. The expected rainfall rate is 0.4 to 0.8 inches in 1 hour. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD…Flash flooding, along with rock slides and mudslides, caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE…Radar. IMPACT…Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Rock slides and mudslides.
