Position Overview

The University of Kansas (KU) Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) seeks outstanding individuals for a full time, tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Computer Science. Successful candidates will have research that demonstrates strong potential for collaboration with existing faculty and complements the department’s current strengths. We are particularly interested in exceptional individuals with expertise in one or more of the following areas, including but not limited to: computer vision, artificial intelligence, cyber-physical systems, robotics, embedded systems, and computer architecture. Applicants must have earned a doctorate in Computer Science or a closely related field by the time of appointment. The successful candidate must also be eligible to work in the U.S. by the effective date of appointment.
