At 751 PM MDT, doppler radar and trained weather spotters reported between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of rain had fallen earlier this evening. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.25 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD…Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE…Trained spotters reported. IMPACT…Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, gulches, roads, and poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include… Southern Aurora, Bennett, Arapahoe Park and Strasburg.
