The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported a magnitude 3.1 earthquake in the Philippines near Dumaguete, Negros Oriental, Central Visayas, 36 minutes ago. The earthquake occurred early Monday morning, October 12th, 2026, at 3:29 am local time, at a shallow depth of 13 km. The magnitude and other earthquake parameters may still change in the coming hours as the agency continues to process seismic data.
