* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE…Santee River near Jamestown. * WHEN…Until further notice. * IMPACTS…At 16.0 feet, water surrounds the residence at the end of Harris Landing Road and the adjacent boat ramp is inaccessible. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 930 PM EDT Saturday, the stage was 12.2 feet. – Forecast…The river is expected to rise to 14.1 feet early Thursday afternoon. Additional rises are possible thereafter. – Flood stage is 10.0 feet.

At 916 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Loran, or 9 miles north of Mount Carroll, moving southeast at 15 mph. HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. This severe storm will be near… Loran around 920 PM CDT. At 816 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms that produced heavy rain have ended across the warned area. Between 2.5 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD…Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include… Mainly rural areas of Eastern De Baca, Western Roosevelt and North Central Chaves Counties. Bojax Road, San Patricio Road and Tinnie Road may be impacted by flash flooding.
