At 718 PM MST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Mesa, moving southwest at 15 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include… Mesa, Gilbert, East Mesa, Freestone Park, Gilbert City Hall, Falcon Field Airport, Downtown Mesa, and Superstition Springs Mall. This includes the following highways… US Highway 60 between mile markers 181 and 190. AZ Route 87 between mile markers 174 and 178. AZ Route 202 between mile markers 13 and 30, and between mile markers 39 and 40, and near mile marker 44.
