At 327 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 22 miles east of Contact, moving northeast at 10 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern Elko County.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include… Laramie, West Laramie, Nine Mile, Rogers Canyon, Tie Siding, University Of Wyoming War Memorial Stadium, Laramie Regional Airport, The Buttes, Hutton Lake, Paddocks, Pope Springs, and Albany County Fairgrounds. This includes Interstate 80 in Wyoming between mile markers 306 and 322, and near mile marker 325.
