At 1110 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Rosemount, or 15 miles south of St. Paul, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include… Eagan, Woodbury, Apple Valley, Cottage Grove, Inver Grove Heights, Hastings, Rosemount, South St. Paul, St. Paul Park, Prescott, Afton, Newport, Vermillion, Coates, Point Douglas, Grey Cloud Township, St Paul Park, Afton State Park, Kinnickinnic State Park and St Marys Point.
