This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen. – Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

At 410 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Stonewall, or 24 miles west of Trinidad, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southwestern Las Animas County.

This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen within the past hour. – Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
