At 726 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking several clusters of strong thunderstorms in the advisory area. The strongest cell was located 9 miles west of Morgan City, or 11 miles east of Hartselle. All storms were moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts of 40-50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
