At 816 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 4 miles southeast of Kit Carson to 6 miles east of Eads to Sweetwater Reservoir. Movement was southeast at 45 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. These storms will remain over mainly rural areas of south central Cheyenne County in east central Colorado. This includes Highway 385 between mile markers 136 and 141.

SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include… Eads, Sheridan Lake, Neeoshe Reservoir, Sweetwater Reservoir, Chivington, Brandon, Neegronda Reservoir, and Queens Reservoir.
