This advisory encompasses a broad area roughly from Cordes to Crown King southward. * Until 930 PM MST. * IMPACTS…Minor flooding in creeks and normally dry washes is imminent or occurring, especially in Castle Creek, Black Canyon and Humbug Creek. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 716 PM MST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. At 820 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm was located over Routon, or 7 miles southwest of Paris, moving southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
