At 227 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 8 miles south of Owenton, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation. Locations impacted include… Keefer, Camp Northward, Elk Lake, Beechwood, New Columbus, Harmony, Natlee, Corinth, Monterey, and Cordova. This includes I-75 in Kentucky between mile markers 144 and 148. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.
