An earthquake of magnitude 3.0 occurred only 7 minutes ago 12 km east of Ferizaj, Kosovo, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported.
The quake hit at a very shallow depth of 9. km beneath the epicenter near Ferizaj, Komuna e Ferizajt, Ferizaj District, Kosovo, in the morning on Monday, December 15th, 2025, at 7:20 am local time. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
Our monitoring service identified a second report from The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Geophysical Lab. (AUTH) which listed the quake at magnitude 3.0 as well. A third agency, the citizen-seismograph network of RaspberryShake, reported the same quake at magnitude 3.2.

An earthquake of magnitude 4.5 occurred around noon on Monday, December 15th, 2025, at 12:30 pm local time near Malita, Davao Occidental, Davao, Philippines, as reported by Indonesia’s Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysical Agency.
According to preliminary data, the quake was located at an intermediate depth of 111. km. The strength of the earthquake may have been tempered by its relative great depth below the surface, which makes it feel weaker in absolute terms. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
Our monitoring service identified a second report from the citizen-seismograph network of RaspberryShake which listed the quake at magnitude 4.5 as well.
Towns or cities near the epicenter where the quake might have been felt as very weak shaking include Surup (pop. 2,100) located 29 km from the epicenter, Talagutong (pop. 8,000) 34 km away, Malita (pop. 118,400) 46 km away, Santa Maria (pop. 16,800) 68 km away, Alabel (pop. 90,100) 76 km away, Malungun (pop. 52,200) 77 km away, Lupon (pop. 68,700) 78 km away, Malapatan (pop. 19,400) 80 km away, Digos (pop. 116,100) 91 km away, and Davao City (pop. 1,848,900) 105 km
