* WHAT…River, creek and stream flooding caused by runoff from earlier excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE…Person county. * WHEN…Until 100 PM EDT. * IMPACTS…Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. Some low-water crossings may become impassable. River or stream flows are elevated. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 823 AM EDT, gauge reports indicated elevated flows along area creeks and streams, some of which may be out of their banks. – Some locations that will experience flooding include… Roxboro, Concord, Surl, Bushy Fork, Bethel Hill, Mayo Reservoir, Hyco Lake, Hyco Marina and Moriah.

* WHAT…Northeast to east winds 20 to 35 mph with gusts to around 50 mph. * WHERE…Portions of Molokai, Lanai, Kahoolawe, Maui, and the Big Island of Hawaii. * WHEN…Until 6 PM HST Tuesday. * IMPACTS…Winds this strong can tear off shingles, knock down tree branches, blow away tents and awnings and make it difficult to steer, especially for drivers of high profile vehicles.
