Worldwide earthquakes above magnitude 3 during the past 24 hours on 29 Aug 2025

Overall, seismic activity has been rather calm during the past 24 hours, with only few quakes reported felt.
Largest Earthquake: The most powerful earthquake reported was a M5.5 in the Rat Islands, Aleutian Islands. Other Notable Earthquakes include a a M5.1 earthquake occurred southeast of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Russia, a magnitude 5.2 event in the Tonga arc, and a widely felt quake of magnitude 5 near Tokyo, Japan.
