Permanent, Tenure-Track Position

The Department of Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering (IME) at the Florida A&M University (FAMU)-Florida State University (FSU) College of Engineering invites applications from highly qualified individuals for a tenure-track faculty position in Advanced Materials and Manufacturing. We are seeking faculty candidates for an assistant professor position; however, exceptional candidates will be considered for higher ranks. The anticipated appointment time is Fall 2026.

About the Department and College

The IME Department currently has 22 faculty, 41 PhD students, 118 MS students, and 160 undergraduate students, and an average annual research expenditure of $5.5M for the last three years. The two universities and outstanding research facilities in the affiliated research buildings/centers provide opportunities for collaboration with faculty in Computer

SANTA FE, New Mexico – Hours are changing this weekend for two in-person centers supporting New Mexicans affected by severe storms, flooding and landslides that occurred June 23 – Aug. 5.

Starting Aug. 31, the centers in Doña Ana County and Lincoln County will be closed on Sundays. Labor Day schedules differ for the sites. See details for each location:

Hours: 9 a.m. – 7 p.m., Monday – Saturday

This center is CLOSED on Labor Day

FEMA and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) staff are providing in-person assistance at the centers to help residents apply for federal assistance, including grants from FEMA and low-interest SBA Disaster Loans. FEMA staff can help individuals in other ways including checking the status of existing applications and informing residents about additional resources available.
