Area webcams and observations indicate that patches of fog have developed over inland portions of northeast and north central Florida, with fog appearing to be locally dense along parts of the Interstate 75 corridor as well as north of Gainesville to Starke and Lawtey. Fog may be locally dense elsewhere in this region as well. Fog is expected to dissipate during the early to mid morning hours. The nature of the fog is such that visibilities will vary greatly over short distances. Motorists should be alert for rapidly changing conditions early this morning.

Areas of fog could lead to visibilities of one mile or less at times this morning. Motorists are urged to be alert for sudden reduced visibilities due to fog. Slow down, use your low-beam headlights and fog lights if able, not your brights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you in case a sudden stop is required.
