The combination of record high temperatures, gusty south winds, and dry fuels will lead to elevated fire weather conditions today. South winds of 15 to 20 mph with gusts of 25 to 35 mph are forecast for this afternoon/evening. Minimum relative humidity values around 40 percent are also expected. These conditions could lead to the rapid spread of fires. Check burning restrictions and fire danger before burning.
