* WHAT…Up to one foot of inundation above ground level in low- lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways. * WHERE…Portions of east central, eastern and southeast Virginia. * WHEN…Until 8 PM EDT Friday. * IMPACTS…Shallow flooding is expected in the most vulnerable locations near the waterfront and shoreline resulting in a low threat of property damage. Expect up to one foot of water above ground level in low lying, vulnerable areas. Some roads and low lying property including parking lots, parks and lawns near the waterfront will experience shallow flooding.

Expect up to one foot of water above ground level in low lying, vulnerable areas. Some roads and low lying property including parking lots, parks and lawns near the waterfront will experience shallow flooding. Breaking waves of 3 to 5 ft will result in rough surf conditions and a high risk of rip currents.

Krasheninnikov (Kamchatka, Russia): The Kamchatkan Volcanic Eruption Response Team (KVERT) and Laboratory for Seismic and Volcanic Activity Research (ISVA) reported that the eruption continued at Krasheninnikov on 10 September 2025 (local). The aviation alert level at Krasheninnikov remained at “Orange” (level 3 on a 4-level scale). Lava effusion continued from the northern crater. Lava flowed toward the E flank.

Klyuchevskoy (Kamchatka): The Laboratory for Seismic and Volcanic Activity Research (ISVA) reported that the eruption continued at Klyuchevskoy on 10 September 2025 (local). The aviation alert level at Klyuchevskoy remained at “Green” (level 1 on a 4-level scale).
