* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE…A portion of central California, including the following counties, northwestern Monterey and northwestern San Benito. * WHEN…Until 615 AM PST. * IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas has been reported in the vicinity of Salinas and Hollister. Moderate rainfall has moved out of region but light rain will continue through the remainder of the morning with nuisance flooding and ponding on roadways expected. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 308 AM PST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.

Winds gusting as high as 50 mph. * WHERE…Elk, McKean, and Warren Counties. * WHEN…From 10 AM this morning to 1 PM EST Monday. * IMPACTS…Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling and blowing snow.
