Just 23 minutes ago, a 2.6-magnitude earthquake struck near Corinth, Corinthia, Peloponnese, Greece. The tremor was recorded late at night on Friday, November 14th, 2025, at 11:25 pm local time, at a very shallow depth of 5. km below the surface.
The event was filed by the National Observatory of Athens (NOA), the first seismological agency to report it.
A second report was later issued by The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Geophysical Lab. (AUTH), which listed it as a magnitude 2.4 earthquake. Other agencies reporting the same quake include The Seismological Laboratory of the University of Athens (UOA) at magnitude 2.5, and the citizen-seismograph network of RaspberryShake at magnitude 2.6.
Towns or cities near the epicenter where the quake might have been felt as very weak shaking include Perachora (pop. 1,100) located 3 km from the epicenter, Loutraki (pop. 11,600) 10 km away, and Corinth (pop. 30,200) 13 km away. In Kiato (pop. 9,800, 18 km away), Zevgolatio (pop. 4,400, 19 km away), Megara (pop. 23,500, 35 km away), Livadeia (pop. 21,500, 42 km away), Thivai (pop. 36,500, 44 km away), and Salamina (pop. 25,400, 49 km away), the quake was probably not felt.
