Observations show that fog has spread across much of the region this morning, and is locally dense. Visibilities are below one quarter mile in some locations. Fog will remain in place through about 9 am, before dissipating. Commuters may want to allow extra time to reach their destinations this morning, and be prepared for rapid changes in visibility.

Patchy dense fog is expected across north-central Wisconsin this morning, with visibilities around a quarter of a mile or less at times. Motorists should anticipate rapidly changing and poor visibilities through the morning commute. If you have travel plans, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination. Allow extra room between you and the car in front of you and use your low beam headlights.
