At 319 PM MST, a severe thunderstorm was located near Painted Rock Dam, or 17 miles south of Buckeye, moving north at 15 mph. HAZARD…Quarter size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Damage to vehicles is expected. Locations impacted include… Buckeye, Palo Verde, Painted Rock Dam, Hassayampa, and Arlington. This includes the following highways… AZ Interstate 10 between mile markers 112 and 120. AZ Route 85 between mile markers 136 and 154.

At 618 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Bamberg to 10 miles southeast of Denmark to near Rivers Bridge State Park. Movement was east at 15 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 to 50 mph. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
