Patchy dense fog has developed across portions of Lake county with visibilities dropping below one half mile in spots, including the Florida Turnpike. Motorists should be prepared for sudden changes in visibility. Use low beam headlights, reduce your speed, and maintain a safe distance between your vehicle and the one ahead of you. The fog will lift by 9 am.

Patchy to areas of fog have developed once again this morning across portions of South Texas. Expect visibilities to generally range between 1 and 3 miles with a few locations seeing visibilities 1/4 mile or less at times. Use caution if traveling as visibility may change rapidly in a short amount of time. Use low beam headlights and leave extra distance between your vehicle and others on the road.

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE…A portion of northern California, including the following county, western Santa Cruz. * WHEN…Until 545 AM PST. * IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 326 AM PST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. – Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area.
