At 210 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 18 miles south of Norwood, or 49 miles northwest of Durango, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation and outdoor objects is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of north central Dolores and central San Miguel Counties. This includes Colorado 145 between mile markers 88 and 93.
