THE OPPORTUNITY

VinUniversity (VinUni) is an ambitious new university with a mission to become a world-class institution that excels in research, teaching, and innovation. We are seeking accomplished and dynamic Chief Operations Officers (COO) who will serve as key members of the leadership team for VinUniversity’s interdisciplinary research centers. The COOs will work in close partnership with the Chief Scientific Officers (CSO) to ensure that each center not only operates efficiently but also fulfills its strategic mission in advancing high-impact, interdisciplinary research aligned with VinUni’s long-term goals.

The McCoy School of Engineering at Midwestern State University invites applications for a full-time 9-month tenure-track McCoy Endowed faculty position at the Assistant/Associate Professor level to begin Fall 2026. As a faculty member in the McCoy School of Engineering you will be expected to:

The Mechanical Engineering Department at the Virginia Military Institute (VMI) invites applications for a faculty position for an individual whose responsibilities would include teaching lower level mechanics courses such as statics and solid mechanics, as well as thermodynamics and instrumentation. This position is a full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the assistant or associate professor level commensurate with experience and accomplishments.

Candidates must have an earned doctorate in mechanical engineering, or a related discipline, and must have excellent teaching and communication skills. Industry experience and professional registration are preferred. The appointment begins August 1, 2026.

The Mechanical Engineering program is ABET accredited and is wholly undergraduate. The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate mechanical engineering courses, advise/supervise student projects and research, and enhance current departmental research areas.
