The old road is flooded and water levels are near new road. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – As of Wednesday morning, the public has reported minor flooding in Kobuk. At 423 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Fort Carson, or 7 miles southeast of Colorado Springs, moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph, pea size hail and heavy rain. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include… Southeastern Colorado Springs, Fountain, Fort Carson, Stratmoor, Security, and Security-Widefield.
