A frontal system is bringing snowfall across the Glenn Highway into the Matanuska Valley Monday morning. Expect snowfall to start early Monday morning just before rush hour, tapering off by early afternoon. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 2 inches are expected across the Glenn Highway from Northeast Anchorage to Palmer. Isolated areas with higher accumulations are possible. Snow accumulations of up to 1 inch expected across the Matanuska Valley. Slow down and use caution while traveling. For the latest road conditions call 5 1 1 or visit 511.alaska.gov.

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE…A portion of east central Florida, including the following county, Brevard. * WHEN…Until 745 PM EDT. * IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 547 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. – Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. – Some locations that will experience flooding include… Titusville, Mims, Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge and Lagrange. –
