At 329 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Gerber Recreation Site, or 35 miles east of Klamath Falls, moving north at 15 mph. HAZARD…Winds in excess of 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include… Gerber Recreation Site, Sprague River Park, Bly, Barnes Valley At Gerber Resevoir, and Beatty.

At 529 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 3 miles east of Eureka, moving east at 10 mph. HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of central Greenwood County.
