Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 1213 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. At 1011 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12 miles west of Green River. This storm was nearly stationary. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of central Emery County. This includes the following highways… Interstate 70 between mile markers 153 and 156. US Route 6 between mile markers 280 and 298.
