* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE…A portion of southern California, including the following county, San Bernardino. * WHEN…Until 615 PM PST. * IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry washes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 426 PM PST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.25 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. – Some locations that will experience flooding include… Twentynine Palms, Yucca Valley, Twentynine Palms Base, Joshua Tree Lake Campground, Joshua Tree, Twentynine Palms Airport and Morongo Valley. – http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 422 PM PST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in Borel Burn Scar. Between 0.1 and 0.3 inches of rain have fallen. – Borel Burn Scar is the most likely place to experience minor flooding. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.3 to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. – Some locations
