Snow levels will fall as low as 6500 to 7000 feet in heavier precipitation Sunday afternoon into Monday morning.

Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 1206 PM PST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.2 and 0.5 inches of rain have fallen. – Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 0.7 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. – Some locations that will experience flooding

Showers with a few embedded thunderstorms will move from the northern Finger Lakes into the Greater Syracuse area between 3 and 5 pm. A storm or two could contain small hail and frequent lightning. The thunderstorm activity will move off to the north and east after 5 pm.
