The Department of Mechanical Engineering (ME) of the Maroun Semaan Faculty of Engineering and Architecture (MSFEA) at the American University of Beirut (AUB) invites applications for a full-time position Tenure-track position, preferably at the level of Assistant professor, in experimental diagnostics and/or computational modeling of mechanical behavior of engineering materials at the multiscale. 

The successful candidate must hold a PhD in Mechanical Engineering (postdoctoral and/or industrial experience preferred), a record-or clear potential-for impactful research in multiscale materials modeling and mechanical behavior using computational and/or experimental approaches.
