Job description:
The Zorlutuna Lab invites applications for a postdoc position. Current research in the Zorlutuna Lab focuses on utilizing 3D bioprinting, microfluidics, and tissue engineering to design physiologically relevant, human cell-based disease models—specifically targeting how factors like tissue aging, obesity, extracellular vesicles and extracellular matrix remodeling dictate breast cancer progression, cardiac fibrosis, and myocardial dysfunction.

Minimum qualifications:
– A PhD degree in Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field, with research background in cell and tissue engineering,
– Good written, communication, and organizational skills,
– Ability to prioritize, delegate and mentor
– High creativity, self-motivation, and strong problem-solving skills
– Strong track record of publication from their PhD or previous postdoctoral appointments in the above-mentioned research fields.

Preferred qualifications:
Preferred candidates will be expected to have extensive experience in one or more of the following;
– Cancer biology,
– Organoids,
– Extracellular matrix (ECM), and decellularized ECMs
– Mouse

The Durham School of Architectural Engineering and Construction (https://engineering.unl.edu/durhamschool) at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Practice position in the area of Construction Management and Construction Engineering beginning no later than January 2027. This is a non-tenure track, 9-month faculty appointment (paid over 12 months). The Durham School is co-located in two cities, Lincoln and Omaha, which are approximately 50 miles apart.
