The Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Amherst is seeking talented applicants qualified for a tenure-track assistant professor position. The position is defined broadly across the entire scope of sustainable chemical energy storage and chemical energy conversion, from the atomic to the systems level. Areas of interest include but are not limited to batteries and battery technologies, capacitors, liquid hydrogen carriers, solar energy conversion, electrochemical cells, and recovery of materials from waste and from natural resources.

Portland State University invites applications for two tenure-track assistant professor positions in a coordinated cluster hire on the co-design of semiconductor devices, circuits, and computing architectures with and for artificial intelligence. Appointment at the rank of associate or full professor may be considered for candidates with exceptional records. Each successful candidate will select a tenure home in the Department of Physics, the Department of Chemistry, the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, or the Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering.
