Etna (Sicily, Italy): A new eruptive episode of strombolian activity occurred at the Southeast Crater last night.
Two lava flows emerged from the summit cone at the SE Crater and traveled down the south and southeastern slope. As usual, the activity was accompanied by intense spattering.
Bulusan (Luzon Island, Philippines): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Tokyo warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 18000 ft (5500 m) altitude or flight level 180 and is moving at 15 kts in W direction.
