The San Diego State University Department of Mechanical Engineering seeks to hire a tenure-track assistant professor with expertise in advanced processing of powder materials, with a specific focus on sintering science and technology. The position begins in Fall 2027, and preferred areas of expertise include advanced and additive manufacturing of powder materials, processing–structure–property–performance relationships, powder based fabrication methods, scalable manufacturing of powder material systems, and artificial intelligence and machine learning applied to materials design, process optimization, and modeling of powder processing and sintering.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Utah (https://mech.utah.edu/) invites applications for a tenured or tenure-track faculty position, with a Fall Semester 2027 starting date. Candidates with exceptional background and experience in areas of robotics in advanced manufacturing are strongly encouraged to apply.
