* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE…A portion of south central Georgia, including the following counties, Berrien, Irwin and Tift. * WHEN…Until 430 PM EDT. * IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 229 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Up to 2 inches of rain has already fallen in the area and an additional 2 to 3 inches is possible over the next two hours. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. – Some locations that will experience flooding include… Tifton, Enigma, Alapaha, Brookfield, Vanceville, Harding and Gladys. – http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
