West winds gusting as high as 35 mph. * WHERE…North to east sides of Kodiak Island. * WHEN…Until 1 AM AKDT Monday. * IMPACTS…Roads will likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be very difficult. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Snow and gusty winds will persist through this evening, then diminish overnight. Snow could mix with rain at times, especially for locations right on the water.

Southwest winds gusting as high as 45 mph, strongest along Shelikof Strait. * WHERE…South to west sides of Kodiak Island. * WHEN…Until 8 AM AKDT Monday. * IMPACTS…Visibilities reduced to one half mile or less due to blowing snow. Travel could be very difficult. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Southwesterly winds will strengthen through the day today and combine with falling snow to severely limit visibility. The worst conditions will be along and near Shelikof Strait. Snowfall and winds will both diminish Monday morning.
